Enjoy This Decadent Garlic Shrimp Recipe
1 ½ T Ghee
1 lb shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
6 garlic cloves
¼ t red pepper flakes
3 T lemon juice
1 T caper brine
3T cold butter
1/3 C chopped flat parsley
Heat heavy bottom fry pan. Add ghee to coat bottom of pan. Place garlic, red pepper & shrimp in pan and cook for about a minute, turn and continue to cook until the shrimp for about a minute longer. Add salt.
Stir in lemon juice, brine & 1 1/2 T butter and stir until shrimp are pink and opaque.
Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl; add balance of butter and continue to cook butter sauce (add water 1 t at a time if too thick) for another 2 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Serve shrimp with pan sauce. Enjoy!
