Yes... You Can Satisfy That Sweet Tooth With Banana Chocolate Good for your Cake!
2 ripe bananas (about 1.5 cups)
2 C Almond flour
¼ C Cacao powder
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
½ C unsweetened applesauce
½ C natural peanut butter (may use almond or other nut butter)
¼ C Ghee
½ C Coconut milk
2 t vanilla
1 C dark chocolate chips (72%)
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl. Mash the bananas until smooth and add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips. Mix the dry ingredients until well incorporated. Add chocolate chips and mix in.
Pour batter into two well-greased with ghee and floured 9-inch round cake pans and bake for 25- 30 minutes or use a bunt pan and bake for about 35 minutes.
This cake is not your typical GF cake, it’s not very sweet. You may want to add sweetened whip cream and or fruit. Enjoy!
