Eat It As A Meal Or As A Side Dish - This Spanish Rice Recipe Is Simply Fantastic!
Ingredients
8 Slices nitrate free bacon
1 C finely chopped onion
¼ C chopped green pepper
14.5 oz can chopped tomatoes
¾ C uncooked long-grain rice
½ C Chili sauce
1 t salt
1 t brown sugar
½ t Worcestershire sauce
¼ t pepper
1 ½ C water
Directions
Cook bacon until crisp in a 10” skillet. Remove bacon from pan. Keep fat and cook
onion & green pepper until tender, not browned.
Add the remaining ingredients to pan. Cover and simmer for 35-40 minutes (or until rice
is tender). Crumble bacon on top.
